The Kaltara Bulungan KPU Proposed A 2024 Pilkada Budget Of IDR 39 Billion

The General Election Commission (KPU) of Bulungan Regency has submitted a budget proposal of IDR 39 billion to the local government for the 2024 Pilkada.

"We have proposed a regional election budget to the Bulungan Regency Government. The Rp39 billion is only a proposal, of course there will be a budget discussion with the regional government budget team," said Bulungan KPU chairman Lili Suryani in Tanjung Selor, North Kalimantan Province (Kaltara), Monday 6 February, confiscated by Antara.

The proposal submitted by the Bulungan KPU includes the entire schedule and stages of the regional elections. Including spending on regional elections such as ballots, debates on governor candidates, and others.

"Asumsi kami ada lima pasangan calon kepala daerah sebagai dasar anggaran yang kami tujukan ke Pemda," kata Lili.

The provisions for disbursement of Pilkada grant funds are regulated in the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation (Permendagri) Number 41 of 2020 concerning Amendments to Permendagri Number 54 of 2019 concerning Funding for Pilkada Activities Sourced from the APBD.

The first stage is at least 40 percent of the value of the regional grant agreement (NPHD) and is disbursed no later than 14 working days after the signing of the NPHD.

The second stage is at least 60 percent of the NPHD value and disbursed no later than five months before voting day.

"The Minister of Home Affairs' letter also regulates NPHD at least a year before the election and is regulated for two disbursements, namely 2023 at 40 percent and in 2024 at 60 percent," said Lili.

For information, the national simultaneous regional elections will be held by the KPU in the regions on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, for the election of governors and deputy governors, regents and deputy regents, as well as mayors and deputy mayors. The Bulungan KPU proposed Rp39 billion for the 2024 Pilkada.
