JAKARTA - Humanitarian action was carried out by officers from the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. by assisting in the process of evacuating women with excess weight pregnant, Friday, February 3. The evacuation process was carried out on Jalan Kramat Asem, Utan Kayu Selatan Village, District, East Jakarta.

Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Gatot Sulaeman explained that the evacuation process was carried out after his party received the incident report. A total of 10 rescue personnel and 2 cars were deployed to the location.

"The patient with the initials NH (37), was pregnant for about 7 months. The reason is because he has been sick all over his body," said Gatot, Friday, February 3.

The evacuation process was carried out from the victim's house on the 2nd floor. The request for evacuation was reported by the family when the victim felt pain all over the body so that it was difficult to move.

"Her husband contacted 118 to examine her, felt he needed help to go to the hospital, then the 118 party contacted the fire department to help lower the victim," he said. The victim's body weight reached 90 kilograms so that it was difficult for the family to lower the victim from the 2nd floor of the house.

"The problem with the stairs is that the victim's weight reaches 90 kg. After being evacuated, the victim was taken to Budi Asih Hospital for help," he explained.
