Senators Call The IKN Anugrah Development For All Regions In Indonesia

TANJUNG SELOR - Senator of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI) as well as President of the National Dayak Customary Council (MADN) Marthin Billa stated that the determination of the State Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago is a gift for all regions in the country. "I say repeatedly that IKN is set by the center as a gift, a very encouraging decision," said Marthin Billa, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, February 3. He is also optimistic that IKN will not only be able to please the people of Kalimantan, but the entire community in the West, East, and Central Indonesia region. "Because the capital city will move to East Kalimantan, it will be a policy of equitable development in the Western, East, and Central regions. Not Central Java," he said. For Kalimantan in particular, he continued, infrastructure development and human resources will be encouraged by the presence of IKN Nusantara. "So we strongly support the development of IKN. The community must support, oversee, and be ready to be involved in all its development areas," he said. This North Kalimantan sanator is also optimistic that North Kalimantan can be a buffer for IKN Nusantara from the various potentials of energy and industry owned. "There is a development of a green industrial area and an international port here as well as a hydropower plant. This is a breakthrough from North Kalimantan to support IKN," he said.
