Hasya Athallah's Attorney Reported Penabrak Police Retired Hasya Athallah To Polda Metro Jaya, This Accusment

JAKARTA - The legal team of Muhammad Hasya Athallah Syahputra visited the Polda Metro Jaya to make a police report against the alleged perpetrator of retired Polri, AKBP Eko Setio Budi Wahono (ESBW) on Thursday, February 2.

The making of the report was carried out directly by Hasya's family attorney.

"Today we have studied the report at Polda Metro Jaya against the alleged perpetrator related to neglecting to provide assistance in connection with the report 589/II//2023 spktpolda metro on February 2, 2023," said Rian Hidayat, Hasya's attorney in a statement received by VOI, Thursday, February 2.

After making an official police report letter, the attorney hopes that the National Police Chief and the Metro Jaya Police Chief can immediately follow up on the report.

"We hope that the Kapolda and the National Police Chief can follow up on our report, including reports that have never been followed up on the report No. 1497/x/2022/lljs which is an initiative report from the victim's father on October 19, 2022," he explained.

Previously, Commission III of the DPR canceled holding a Public Hearing Meeting (RDPU) to hear the aspirations of the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia (Iluni FHUI) regarding the accident that killed a student at the University of Indonesia (UI), Hasya Athallah.

Member of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Taufik Basari, explained that the RDPU had to be postponed because the families of UI students who died were unable to attend.

"The first is because the time coincides with the family's plan to report to the Regional Police regarding the criminal act of neglecting people who need help who eventually die and coincidentally coincide with reconstruction," said Taufik at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Thursday, February 2.
