JAKARTA - A man with the initials R had the heart to kill a security guard in a luxury housing estate in Kebon Besar, South Gandaria, Cilandak, South Jakarta. In fact, the perpetrator knew the victim well because he had worked as a security guard in the housing complex. But all of that turned into a blood-filled tragedy.

Plt Wakasat Reskrim South Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Henrikus Yossi Hendrata said the incident occurred on Sunday, December 18.

The incident started with a close relationship between the victim and the perpetrator's wife, which made the perpetrator feel jealous. But unfortunately, Commissioner Henrikus Yossi Hendrata did not specify whether there was an alleged affair between the victim and the perpetrator's wife.

The perpetrator's annoyance peaked on Sunday, December 18, at 22.00 WIB. The perpetrator approached the victim to the security post carrying a machete. But at that time the perpetrator did not find the victim because he was going to find food.

"Then when the victim returned to the post, the perpetrator was still at the location. No longer arguing. When the victim started eating the food he bought, the perpetrator immediately slashed him," Henrikus told reporters, Wednesday, February 1.

"The perpetrator slashed the back and neck of the victim's head. Several times the victim was stabbed until the victim was unconscious and bleeding at the scene," he continued.

After committing the crime, R left the scene on a motorbike.

After going through the investigation process, the police finally managed to arrest R in Garut, West Java on Saturday, January 28.

"We revealed because there was CCTV footage that recorded the incident that night and this is also evidence of the clothes worn at the time of the incident," he explained. The perpetrator was charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code.
