TABALONG - Tabalong Resort Police (Polres), South Kalimantan, confiscated 1,490 illegal drugs from suspects RM (25) and JW (20). "Regarding the origin of the illegal drugs, we will develop them," said Tabalong Police Chief AKBP Anib Bastian at the Tabalong Police Headquarters, Antara, Wednesday, February 1. From the confession of the suspects, RW and JW, the illegal drug was sold for Rp. 25 thousand per 12 pills with a profit of Rp. 1 million per box. Illegal drugs are sold to students and young people in Muara Uya District. The two perpetrators were charged with the crime of distributing illegal drugs as referred to in Article 196 of Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code. Previously, the Tabalong Police Narcotics Investigation Unit arrested suspects RM from Uwie and JW villages from Muara Uya Village, Muara Uya District, along with evidence of thousands of brandless drugs in Muara Uya, last Saturday. The arrest was led by Kasatresnarkoba AKP Fathony Bahrul Arifin and Muara Uya Police Chief Iptu Ahmad Misno in front of a stall in Muara Uya Village. The police appealed to the public, especially students, to avoid illegal drugs because they endanger their health. The Tabalong Police through the Binmas Unit also continues to intensify socialization of prevention of drug use or other illegal drugs.
