He explained that the construction of this green open space park was carried out to improve public infrastructure as well as organize the city area by utilizing empty spaces to make it more beautiful to look at and not look shabby.
At the end of 2022, he said, the OKU Regency Government had completed the construction of 24 green open space parks spread across several sub-districts in the OKU Regency area.
The parks that have been built include Taman Kartini, Kemalaja, Simpang Unbara, Taman Sukaraya, Taman Sepadan Sungai Jembatan Ogan I and Jembatan Ogan II.
