Leak Sandi, There Is A Written Agreement Between Prabowo And Anies Which Is Valid Until Now

Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees Sandiaga Uno said there was a written agreement between Prabowo Subianto, Anies Baswedan and Sandiaga Uno before the 2017 DKI Jakarta Pilkada and still in effect.

"As far as I remember there was an agreement, it could be a stepping stone and a good discussion because those discussions can analyze how coalition formation and what kind of agreements are outlined in an agreement," Sandiaga said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, January 29.

Previously in an interview on the YouTube channel of NasDem Party politician, Akbar Faizal, Sandiaga Uno revealed a political agreement between General Chair Prabowo Subianto and former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan before the 2017 DKI Pilkada.

Initially, Akbar Faisal asked about a video clip of Anies' statement claiming that he would not run in the presidential election if Prabowo also ran for office. Sandiaga's reason was because there was a political agreement between Prabowo and Anies Baswedan.

"The physical form itself is of course the agreement was signed by 3 parties (namely) me, Mr. Prabowo and Mr. Anies, and at that time it was 'introduction' and was written by Mr. Fadli Zon himself and as far as I know, Mr. Dasco is also holding it now, so maybe Mr. Dasco or Mr. Fadli can provide information because it also concerns Pak Prabowo and Mr. Anies' side," Sandiaga explained.

Currently Fadli Zon serves as Deputy Chair of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees, while Ahmad Sufmi Dasco serves as the Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party.

"The contents of the agreement are related to the 2017 DKI Pilkada. That night we signed up before we registered with the KPUD in September 2016, but the contents were more ethically conveyed who had coffee, I myself did not hold it," said Sandiaga.

Sandiaga did not explain whether the agreement was related to the 2024 presidential election or otherwise.

"In my opinion, it would be better to explain by those who held the agreement, but the agreement was needed because there must be an agreement on how we move forward, the coalition at that time was Gerindra and PKS but the candidate pair I was the deputy governor, Mr. Anies and Pak Prabowo," added Sandiaga.

Sandiaga invited reporters to ask Fadli Zon or Sufmi Dasco.

"The agreement must take effect and if it is not terminated, the agreement will apply, but maybe its contents can be conveyed later, especially now that I am both serving in the government with Pak Prabowo, so a neutral party can convey it so that it is not biased," said Sandiaga.

Sandiaga also said that the agreement was legal with a stamp.

"I'm still 'commit' (with the agreement) until now, I signed and committed and maybe something else can be asked," said Sandiaga.
