JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan invited all residents to adjust their lifestyle and daily activities amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021. According to him, this new year should be an opportunity for all parties to accelerate change due to the spread of this deadly virus.

"The year 2021 is an opportunity for all of us to make accelerated changes. How can we change our daily lifestyle, our daily activities, our economic activities by adjusting the conditions of the pandemic challenges," Anies said as quoted by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's YouTube, Friday, January 1. .

He did not deny that 2020 would be a year full of struggles to face the pandemic. Anies also said that 2020 will be a year full of tests on endurance, stamina, and focus of the people and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

Thus, the former Minister of Education and Culture reminded all citizens to maintain their health and continue to comply with health protocols. Moreover, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to be a challenge for all parties.

"We are still facing this challenge. Let us maintain our stamina, we will protect all health protocols and we will show that in 2021 with new enthusiasm we can face and pass the pandemic. God willing, through this pandemic we will get a lot of lessons," he said.
