The KPK Asks Minister Of Health Budi Gunadi To Report The Finding Of Sale And Purchase Permits For Doctors

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) asked Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin to report the findings of buying and selling doctor licenses submitted during a webinar with the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) of the Riau Region.

Head of the KPK News Section, Ali Fikri, said that this report was needed so that investigations could be carried out. Anyone who knows the alleged sale and purchase of the recommendation can submit it to the Complaints and Public Reporting Section of the KPK.

"We make sure that every public report to the KPK is followed up by the complaint and reporting department of the KPK," Ali told VOI, Monday, January 30.

From that report, KPK will verify and review it. "The complaint team will also enrich the information," said Ali.

After that, the KPK will ensure whether or not they can investigate the report. Ali said, they are ready to move if the alleged sale and purchase permit for the doctor's practice is in accordance with their main duties and functions.

Previously, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi mentioned the existence of deposit money that doctors had to submit to certain parties to get practical recommendations. He admitted that he heard this from a number of doctors in the country.
