KIB Heats 'Fight Power', Ready To Meet FREE People's Choices

JAKARTA - Acting Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) Muhammad Mardiono said the united Indonesian coalition (KIB) will meet this week to discuss the maturation of presidential candidates (candidates).

"Maybe this week. Yesterday Pak Airlangga called, as soon as Mr. Zul came home, we'll move later," he said in Jakarta, Monday, January 30, as reported by Antara.

The discussion, he said, was scheduled when three political party leaders in KIB gathered, namely Golkar Chairman Airlangga Hartarto, PAN chairman Zulkifli Hasan and he represented PPP.

He emphasized that there has been maturation about later figures who deserve to be promoted by each political party that is members of KIB.

Mardiono stated that PPP always encourages national figures to appear to the public. The goal is that they become part of the development of this nation and state.

"If these figures don't appear in public spaces, they don't appear to the public, so the public doesn't know," he said.

He gave an example of a number of national figures who attended several series of PPP activities including SOE Minister Erick Thohir, Minister of Tourism Sandiaga Uno and West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil.
