Trump Hosts A Luxurious New Year's Party At Mar-a-Lago Florida, Ticket Prices Are 13 Million

JAKARTA - United States (US) President Donald Trump held a New Year's Eve party at his Florida golf resort, Mar-a-Lago. Each of the invited guests who attended this glamorous party had to buy a ticket for 1,000 US dollars or around Rp.13,917,500.

Apart from exorbitant ticket prices, the only guests allowed to attend the party were members of the Mar-a-Lago club. The question is, how about the health protocol there?

As quoted by the Independent, the Palm Beach County region requires the use of masks for its citizens. However, seeing previous events held in Mar-a-Lago, such as the TurningPoint USA gala, most of the participants attended without masks.

The event was held when the COVID-19 pandemic got worse as the holiday season entered. Meanwhile, for Trump's New Year's event, many doubt that the rules for wearing masks will be tightened.

Trump's New Year's party at Mar-a-Lago has been a tradition for him, even before he became president. Family and relatives also always attend the event.

According to a CNN report, nearly 500 people have booked tickets for the president's New Year's party.
