JAKARTA - The Democrat Party has fully handed over the decision of the future vice presidential candidate (cawapres) to Anies Baswedan who will be supported in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

"We are only rational. Do not let the factor in determining the vice president's reading become something that hinders the formation of the Change Coalition. For this reason, the Democrats will invite PKS to submit the decision to read the vice president to the presidential reading that we carry, so that the three parties have the same equality in the coalition," he also said.
Later, he said again, the couple who will be promoted by the three parties will be harmonious and complement each other when they get the mandate to run the government wheels, so that it is not just a "forced marriage".
