SOLOK - A resident of Solok City, West Sumatra, found a 5.5-meter-long rice field snake weighing about 130 kilograms which was handed over directly to the Solok City Damkar.
A Catastrophe Fathur Amadavi Illaki (21) who evacuated the snake said the snake had entered the residents' yard before being evacuated.
"The initial findings on December 31, 2022, I received reports from residents, if I do not evacuate, residents will kill them," he said in Solok, Antara, Thursday, January 26.
Fatur said, for 25 days the snake was quarantined at his home.
"I was treated, bathed in betel leaf water and given drinking water three times a week, only then was it handed over to the Solok City Damkar," he said.
