CILEGON A man was found dead hanging himself in his house on Jalan Lingkungan Palas, Bendungan Village, Cilegon District. The Head of Cilegon Police of the Banten Police, AKBP Eko Tjahyo Untoro, through the Cibeber Police Chief, Cilegon Police, AKP Suhel, said that the man's body was found on Wednesday, January 25, at around 18.30 WIB, by his colleague.

"It is true, a man's body with the initials YF (60) has been found who died allegedly due to hanging himself at the house of a resident in the Palas neighborhood, Bendungan Village, Cilegon District, Cilegon City," said Suhel in a written statement, Thursday, January 26.

Suhel explained that the witness, FN (33), a colleague of the victim, was visiting YF's house, but at that time FN saw that the victim YF was hanging by a rope in his house. Suddenly FN immediately reported the incident to local residents," said Suhel.

Cibeber Police, who received the report, immediately went to the scene.

"After processing the crime scene, it can be concluded that there were no signs of violence on the victim YF's body," added Suhel.

The identification results showed that police officers found a number of drugs belonging to the victim had a history of illness.

"He found drugs belonging to victim YF. It is known that victim YF has stomach disease, gout and high blood pressure, there is also a wallet containing identity and money amounting to Rp1,550,000," concluded Suhel.
