Police Prepare 20 Diversion Of Jalan Imbas To Close Sudirman-Thamrin

JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has prepared 20 diversion of traffic flow due to the closure of Jalan Sudirman-Jalan MH Thamrin to prevent crowds on New Year's Eve 2021.

"Avoid traffic along Jalan Jendral Sudirman to Jalan MH Thamrin," said Head of Metro Jaya Police Inspector General of Police. Fadhil Imran in a statement uploaded by Antara on Twitter @TMCPoldaMetro, in Jakarta, Thursday.

Not only is it closed for vehicles via car free nights, road closures, it is also closed for people who wish to walk through the protocol streets through crowd free nights.

The road closure in the Sudirman-Thamrin area will take place at 20.00 WIB - 03.00 WIB.

The 20 diversion of traffic flows that are prepared are as follows:

1. The traffic flow from Jalan Hayam Wuruk is diverted to the left to Jalan Juanda and the traffic flow from Jalan Suryopranoto is turning left to Jalan Gajah Mada.

2. The traffic flow from Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur towards Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara is closed, turn right to Jalan Perwira, turn left to Jalan Cathedral and turn right towards Pasar Baru.

3. The traffic flow from Jalan Ridwan Rais going to Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan is closed and straightened to Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur.

4. The traffic flow from Jalan Abdul Muis to Jalan Museum is closed.

5. The traffic flow from Jalan Abdul Muis to Jalan Budi Kemerdekaan was closed.

6. The traffic flow from Jalan Agus Salim which will turn left onto Jalan Kebon Sirih is diverted towards Tugu Tani.

7. The traffic flow from Jalan Abdul Muis to Jalan Kebon Sirih is closed.

8. The traffic flow from Jalan Agus Salim turns left towards Jalan KH Wahid Hasyim closed and is directed towards Tugu Tani.

9. The traffic flow from Jalan Fachrudin to Jalan KH Wahid Hasyim is closed.

10. The traffic flow from Jalan KH Mas Mansyur to the HI Roundabout is closed and rectified to Jalan KH Mas Mansyur.

11. The flow of traffic from Jalan Galunggung to Jalan Jendral Sudirman is straightened to Jalan Djojohadikoesoemo.

12. The traffic flow from Jalan Imam Bonjol to the HI Roundabout is diverted to Jalan Agus Salim and the current from Jalan Agus Salim that goes to Jalan Jendral Sudirman will be diverted to Jalan Imam Bonjol.

13. Traffic flows from Jalan KH Mas Mansyur to Jalan Jendral Sudirman were asked to make a U-turn to Jalan KH Mas Mansyur and traffic flows from Jalan Doktor Satrio to Sudirman were asked to make a U-turn to Jalan Doktor Satrio.

14. Traffic flows from Jalan Bendungan Hilir to Jalan Jendral Sudirman are asked to make a U-turn towards Jalan Bendungan Hilir.

15. Traffic flows from the west of Jalan Gatot Subroto heading to Jalan Jendral Sudirman are aligned to Jalan Gatot Subroto heading east and traffic flows from the east of Jalan Gatot Subroto leading to Jalan Jendral Sudirman are aligned to Jalan Gatot Subroto to the west.

16. The flow of traffic from Jalan Pintu 1 Senayan to Jalan Jendral Sudirman was asked to make a U-turn.

17. The flow of traffic from Jalan Asia Afrika to Bundaran Senayan is straightened to Jalan Hanglekir. The traffic flow from Jalan Sisingamangaraja towards Jalan Jendral Sudirman turned left onto Jalan Hanglekir.

18. The traffic flow from Jalan Pattimura towards Jalan Sudirman is straightened to Jalan Hanglekir, and turns left onto Jalan Sisingamangaraja. The traffic flow from Jalan Senopati to Sudirman is straightened to Jalan Pattimura.

19. The traffic flow from Cathedral Street to Jalan Veteran Raya is closed, turning towards Pasar Baru.

20. The closed traffic flow from Jalan Pos leading to Jalan Gedung Kesenian is closed and straightened towards Gunung Sahari. The traffic flow from Jalan Abdul Muis towards Harmoni was diverted towards Jalan Tanah Abang 1.
