Unpretented Decree, 10 Village Apparatus Representatives Complain To The House Of Representatives Asking For An Appointment Decree To Be Made By The Regent

JAKARTA - As many as 10 representatives of the All-Indonesian Village Apparatus (PPDI) of East Kalimantan Province (Kaltim) complained about the fate of members of the DPR RI for the Electoral Region of East Kalimantan. They asked for the determination of a decree (SK) for the appointment of village officials by the regent. "So far, our fate is uncertain because the decree on the appointment of village officials is carried out by the village head, so if there is a change of village head, then there is also the potential for replacement of village officials," said PPDI Kaltim Chairman Rodi at Nusantara Building 1 DPR RI, Antara, Jakarta, Wednesday, January 25. Their aspirations were accommodated by Hetifah Sjaifudian who came from the Election Area of East Kalimantan Province, so these village officials hoped that their complaints would be heard and changed by regulations governing the determination of village officials' decrees so that their positions would not be easily removed. Rodi and other village officials admitted that since Monday (23/1) they have been in the DPR, precisely at a hearing meeting at Commission II with 10 PPDI representatives from three districts in East Kalimantan, namely Paser, Kutai Kartanegara, and East Kutai Regencies. "We want to complain to our parents in the DPR, namely Mrs. Hetifah Sjaifudian, namely to express anxiety and hope regarding the clarity of the status and welfare of village officials," he said in a release received in Samarinda. As village officials, their position is considered vulnerable because it depends on the change of village head, namely the experience so far the new village head often removes old village officials from being replaced with new devices. For this reason, in addition to asking for the determination of village officials to be the authority of the regent's Decree, they also proposed a new law related to village officials, then hoped that the clause 'village sets' would be included in Law Number 5 of 2014 concerning State Civil Apparatus which limits the definition of ASN as PNS and PPPK. Hetifah Sjaifudian, who has been the representative of the people of East Kalimantan for three terms in Senayan, said that when he used to sit on Commission II of the DPR, he also made the Village Law which strengthened decentralization of the government to the village government, in the form of village funds. The existence of village funds, from various academic studies, has proven to be contributing to increasing the Human Development Index, increasing economic growth, and reducing poverty. "Now in Commission X, I continue to fight for village tourism programs and scholarships for village children. So regarding the aspirations of these village officials, I really understand and empathize with the fate and welfare of village officials," he said. For this reason, Hetifah stated that support for the aspirations of village officials in East Kalimantan could be realized through changes to laws or other relevant regulations.
