PAPUA- West Papua Police revealed that the basis for residents to take legal action on their own is to burn a woman suspected of kidnapping a child in Sorong City, West Papua, Tuesday, January 24, at 06.30 WIT, because of the many kidnapping cases.

The Head of Public Relations of the West Papua Police, Kombes Adam Erwindi, revealed that the basis was the residents' fear, because of the many cases of child kidnapping. This is the cause of residents being upset or furious when they see the act of kidnapping children.

"There are women accused of kidnapping children, because they are busy on social media, finally the community is angry with them. When they brought them, someone splashed gasoline and kept burning," Adam said when confirmed, Tuesday, January 24.

As previously reported, a woman whose identity has not been identified was burned by a group of residents in Sorong Manoe, Southwest Papua. The woman was burned for allegedly kidnapping a child.

The incident began when a resident shouted at the victim on charges of kidnapping a child. Suddenly, residents who heard immediately arrested the accused woman and killed her.

"So at that time someone shouted child kidnappers, There was a woman accused of kidnapping a child. He was beaten and beaten," he said.

Then came Bhabinkamtinmas to the scene, then gave clothes to the victim. However, when the victim wanted to be brought by the officers, there were residents who suddenly poured gasoline and set the victim on fire.

"Continue to put clothes on, so when you bring them, you'll be partnered, right? Suddenly someone poured gasoline. Then it was burned. Until finally he was taken to the hospital and died," he said.

Recently, the police are investigating the perpetrator who is vigilant and the person who accused the victim of kidnapping the child.
