JAKARTA AF alias Acil, a teenage boy in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta is a suspect in a sexual abuse case against minors. AF committed disgraceful acts at the victim's house. This case was revealed because the victim's mother, SN, caught AF's action in the living room.

The Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Nurma Dewi, confirmed and explained that the harassment took place on Friday, January 20, at 13.00 WIB.

Nurma also said that the incident began when the perpetrator played for the victim's house. At the time of the incident the victim's initials AA (11) was asleep in the living room of his house.

When the perpetrator launched his action, the victim's mother accidentally saw her child being tricked by the perpetrator. Suddenly it made him angry and reported the perpetrator to the South Jakarta Metro Police.

After the report was received, the police immediately conducted an investigation and succeeded in arresting the perpetrator. Until now, the perpetrator is still undergoing investigation by the investigative team.

"The suspect admitted that he had only abused the victim once and regretted his actions," he said.

The perpetrator was charged with Article 76E Jo 82 of Law No. 17 of 2016 concerning the second amendment to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection.
