JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono conducted a review of the coastal embankment in Kalibaru, Cilincing, North Jakarta, on Friday, January 20 yesterday.

Before checking the embankment, he took the time to visit Plaza Kalibaru. This Plaza is an open space around the coastal embankment.

When checking, residents seemed to be crowding the edges of the sea wall. They continued to follow Heru who was surrounding the coastal embankment area. In fact, many of the residents were scrambling to take pictures.

Political observer from Lingkar Madani (Lima) Ray Rangkuti assessed that the blusukan style of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono will make it easier to overcome a number of problems in the capital city.

"Blusukan, often get a positive response from the community. In the end, this will have a positive impact on solving problems in Jakarta," he said, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, January 21.

According to Ray, the blusukan that Heru Budi often does is so positive that as a leader, he must see the reality on the ground and not only receive reports from his staff.

"This means that public trust will increase and the impact of Mr. Heru is more able to execute his programs," he said.
