Bio Farma Claims To Be One Of The Strongest In Security Systems, Customer Data Is Safe

JAKARTA - The state-owned pharmaceutical company, Bio Farma, claims to be one of the strongest in the security system. To that end, they dare to guarantee the security of every data user of digital application services.

Regarding data security, Bio Farma's medical services have established close cooperation and coordination with the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN).

In addition, they also collaborated with global companies such as Google Cloud, Fitbit, and Connectedlife on the latest digital health initiatives.

Bio Farma also implements regulations in the Personal Data Protection Law to prevent leakage of consumer data.

"It can be said that Bio Farma's security system is one of the strongest today," said Director of Transformation and Digital Bio Farma Soleh Ayubi, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, January 21.

Ayudi emphasized that the infrastructure and security standards used by Bio Farma, both in terms of the production of pharmaceutical products and digital services, are in accordance with globally recognized standards.

"We have a defense and official team, we continue to test cybersecurity repeatedly and there are no leaks," he said.

Currently, Bio Farma is intensively developing services in the health sector end-to-end, ranging from research and development of pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and distribution, to operations of retail pharmacies, clinics, and clinical laboratories through a digital system called Healthcare Ecosystem.

Bio Farma, said Ayuni, is projecting that a web-based marketplace called the Medicine Distribution Business Zone (Madbiz) will become a business platform for the distribution of medicinal products and medical devices in the future.

"The potential of this health service is very large, both in Indonesia and abroad. We will take advantage of this momentum to massively transform through digital technology," he said.
