TANGERANG - A motorcycle taxi driver based with the initials BS (48) died after being hit by an electric train (KRL) next to the Poris Station Crossing Post, Tangerang City. Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Wednesday, January 18, at 20.45 WIB

"It's true what happened," said Zain when confirmed, Thursday, January 19.

Zain explained that the incident began when the victim sat on the rail pinggi, because he wanted to find a cellphone signal. Suddenly the KRL passed by until finally the victim was grazed and died on the spot.

"His friend had been reminded that it was dangerous, but the victim did not heed until the victim was hit by a passing train," he said.

The victim has recently been taken to his hometown in Boyolali, Central Java. However, a post-mortem was carried out at the Tangerang District Hospital.

"He was taken to the Kab Regional General Hospital. Tangerang is for Visum and is currently being taken to boyolali for burial," he concluded.
