South Jakarta District Court Revokes SP3 Mesum Chat Case Rizieq Shihab-Firza Husein, Investigation Will Continue

JAKARTA - The South Jakarta District Court has decided to revoke the Letter of Termination of Investigation (SP3) in a perverted chat case allegedly involving Rizieq Shihab and Firza Husein. The process of investigating this case will continue.

The applicant's attorney, Aby Febriyanto Dunggio, said the pretrial filing was made on December 15. The pre-trial lawsuit is registered under the number 151 / Pid.Prap / 2020 / PN.Jkt.Sel.

"That's right, the court has decided to continue the nasty chat case. So, this case is reopened," Febriyanto told VOI, Tuesday, December 29.

This pretrial petitioner is named Jefri Azhar. He is a reporter for a perverted chat case at Polda Metro Jaya in 2017.

With this decision, his party immediately coordinated with Polda Metro Jaya to continue the case. So, in the near future investigators are expected to examine witnesses.

"We have coordinated directly to follow up on this case," he said.

In this case, Rizieq Shihab was named a suspect in a nasty chat case with Firza Husein.

Rizieq was accused by Article 4 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 29 and / or Article 6 in conjunction with Article 32 and / or Article 8 in conjunction with Article 34 of Law Number 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography and Article 27 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph 1 of Law Number 19 of 2016 about Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE).

But a year later, the investigation of this case was stopped. The reason is that investigators did not find the perpetrators of spreading the pornographic content.
