Jokowi's Presence During The National Coordination Meeting Of The Forkopimda Panel Meeting The Participants, Tak Sungkan Santap Nasi Kotak Bersama

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo attended a panel session to lunch together at the Regional Head Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) and the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) throughout Indonesia in Sentul, Bogor, West Java, today. After opening the Forkopimda National Coordination Meeting throughout Indonesia which was held at the Sentul International Convention Center (SICC), Bogor, the President did not immediately leave the event location. "The president remains at the location and participates in the National Coordination Meeting panel session with discussions regarding strengthening investment, downstreaming, and ease of business licensing," said a press statement received by reporters, Antara, Tuesday, January 17. Bogor Mayor Bima Arya told reporters that President Jokowi's presence at the panel session shocked the National Coordination Meeting participants, as well as showing the President's seriousness in the directions that had been conveyed at the opening of the National Coordination Meeting. During the panel session, a number of related ministers became speakers by bringing out relevant discussion topics. The ministers who attended as panelists were Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, and Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Hadi Tjahjanto. In addition, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and the Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board Bahlil Lahadalia were also present online via video conference. After the panel session, the President and the ministers and governor then had lunch together at Hall C, SICC. Based on the photos received by journalists, during the lunch, the President seemed to mingle with the governors while spending the boxed rice served. After lunch, the President walked to Hall B area which became a place for the regents and mayors to eat. There, the President greeted and had a brief chat with the elements of Forkopimda present. After that, at around 13.15 WIB, President Jokowi left the SICC to continue his activities at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.
