JAKARTA - The prosecutor charged Ricky Rizal with 8 years in prison in the alleged premeditated murder case of Yosua alias Brigadier J. Behind these demands, there is a mitigating consideration that is having children who still need guidance.

"The mitigating thing is that the defendant is young and there is still hope to improve his behavior. The defendant is the backbone of the family in making a living. The defendant still has young children and needs the guidance of a father," said the prosecutor at the trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Monday, January 16.

Then, in making decisions, the prosecutor also has burdensome considerations. This consideration is not much different from Ma'ruf's Strongness, such as his actions resulting in the loss of Brigadier's life and deep sorrow for the family.

"The defendant was convoluted and did not admit his actions in giving testimony at trial, the defendant's actions should not be carried out in his life as a law enforcement apparatus," said the prosecutor.

Then, with a series of trial results so far, Ricky Rizal is considered proven to have participated in the premeditated murder together with four other defendants, namely Ferdy Sambo, Putri Candrawathi, Richard totaling or Bharada E and Strong Ma'ruf.

Ricky Rizal was charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code Juncto Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code. Ricky Rizal alias Bripka RR is said to have played a role in supervising the whereabouts of Yosua alias Brigadier J while at Ferdy Sambo's official residence at the Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.

"For the defendant Ricky, when he arrived at Duren Tiga's official residence, he did not enter but stood in the garage of the house to continue to be in charge of supervising the victim Nopriansyah Yosua Hubarat," said the prosecutor.

In a series of premeditated murder cases, Ricky Rizal must ensure that Yosua alias Brigadier J remains at the official residence. So, when Ferdy Sambo arrives, the execution process can be carried out immediately.

In fact, the prosecutor considers Ricky Rizal's role in supervising Brigadier J has been carried out since he was in Magelang on July 7, 2022.

"(Brigadier J, ed) who was standing in the courtyard of the official residence to ensure that the victim was not going anywhere and this task had been carried out since Magelang's trip to Jakarta," said the prosecutor.
