Police Determine 10 Suspects Of Beating Students To Death In Deli Serdang

MEDAN - The Medan City Police, North Sumatra, have named 10 people as suspects in the beatings that led to the death of a student named Zulham (17). The victim was beaten up in Sei Rotan Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency.

"There are 10 suspects. Of the 10 suspects, three have been arrested," said Head of Medan Police, Kombes Riko Sunarko, quoted by Antara, Monday, December 28.

The three suspects who were successfully arrested were Andika Prasetyo (21), Tri Irawan (18) and Bayu Anggara (18). Meanwhile, the seven suspects who are still DPOs have the initials J, RF, F, T, Te, R and AF.

"Currently our officers are still pursuing the seven suspects who are still DPOs," he said.

There are also articles that are suspected of Article 80 Paragraph 3 Jo Article 76c of Law Number 35 Year 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 Year 2002 concerning the Protection of Children with the threat of 15 years in prison.

Previously, the beatings that led to the death of Zulham, a resident of Bintang Meriah Village, Batang Kuis District, Deli Serdang Regency, occurred on Thursday, December 10, evening.

Initially the victim and his partner passed through Lorong VII Sei Rotan Village. Suddenly a number of youths intercepted and immediately beat the victim to death.
