The South Bolmong Earthquake In North Sulawesi Was Felt To North Gorontalo

GORONTALO - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 in South Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi was felt up to Kwandang District, North Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo.

"The shaking was felt to last almost a minute," said Fatma Majid, a resident of Kwandang, North Gorontalo, quoted by Antara, Monday, December 28.

Fatma admitted that he was shocked by the shock of the earthquake. He encouraged his mother to hurry out of the house.

Another local resident, Usman, expressed the same thing. He admitted that he felt the shock of the earthquake.

"The shock of the earthquake was felt enough to even make me have to get out of my seat," said Usman.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) informed that the earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 occurred at 15:31 WITA.

The epicenter was located at 0.24 South Latitude (LS), 124.57 East Longitude (BT) or 94 kilometers southeast of Bolaang Uki, Bolaang Mongondow Selatan, North Sulawesi with a depth of up to 10 kilometers.
