The Robbers Of The Journalists' House In Johar Baru Have Been Caught, It Turns Out That The Recidivist Of The SAME Case

JAKARTA - The Johar Baru Sector Police managed to apprehend the robber with the initials TS (25) who acted at a daily journalist's house in the Johar Baru area. It turned out that the perpetrator was a recidivist of a similar case.

Johar Baru Police Chief Kompol Rudi Wira said the arrest of the suspect with the initials TS was carried out when the perpetrator hid at his uncle's house in the Johar Baru area.

"When arrested, the perpetrator tried to escape, but we managed to secure it," said Kompol Rudi to VOI, Friday, January 13.

After an investigation, it turned out that the TS perpetrators were also involved in other robbers using sharp weapons.

"We are developing based on the results of CCTV videos in other cases, TS is also related to the robbery case on November 19 with the victim's nodong mode using a knife and taking the victim's cellphone," he said.

Based on police records, the suspect TS was also detained in a similar case. Currently, TS must serve a sentence for two cases of robbery and theft that he has committed.

"So from one person this is related to two cases, the burglary of the house resulted in the loss of 2 cellphones and the robbery of cellphones using violence," he said.

For his actions, the suspect TS was charged with Article 365 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with 363 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of up to 5 years in prison.
