Arif Rachman Was Once Sprayed By Hendra Kurniawan During The TKP Execution Team The Death Of Brigadier J

The defendant Arif Rachman Arifin admitted that he was sprayed by the former Karo Paminal Polri Hendra Kurniawan during the process of processing the crime scene (TKP) for the death of Brigadier J at the official residence of the Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.

Hendra Kurniawan's anger was conveyed by Arif when he was examined as a defendant in the alleged obstruction of investigation or obstruction of justice case of the death of Yousa alias Brigadier J at the South Jakarta District Court, Friday, January 13.

Initially, Arif gave information about the TKP processing process at Ferdy Sambo's official residence. Not long after, he was contacted by Hendra Kurniawan who was in Jambi at that time.

"We also left the crime scene because we were very busy inside. Then not long after Hendra called us. He was in Jambi," said Arif.

In that communication, Hendra asked about the crime scene processing. In particular, about the person who led the series of activities.

At that time he admitted that he did not know because he was outside the house. This answer made Hendra angry with him.

"Pak Hendra called us, asking with a little anger, 'you see who leads? Ready. What are you ready for? Ready no. Where are you? Are you not? Are you at the crime scene? Ready. I'm outside. Can't you see who is leading the crime scene. Ready not to see, "said Arif imitating his conversation with Hendra.

Feeling scared, Arif tried to peek out the window. It turned out that the crime scene was led by the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Komjen Agus Andrianto.

"Finally I tried to get inside. I saw the person who was processing the crime scene inside seemed to be from Labfor because he was installing threads," said Arif.

"Timsus huh?" asked the judge.

"Timsus," replied Arif.

"Bentukkan Kapolri?" asked the judge assertively.

"Kapolri," said Arif.

Arif Rachman Arifin was charged with being involved in destroying CCTV evidence at the investigation of the death of Brigadier J. He is said to have helped secure CCTV DVR from around Ferdy Sambo's official residence, precisely at the Police Complex security post, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.

In addition, Arif Rachman Arifin is also said to have destroyed a laptop containing CCTV copies. The destruction was carried out by breaking the laptop.

Thus, he is suspected of violating Article 49 in conjunction with Article 33 subsidiary Article 48 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 32 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law Number 19 of 2016 and/or the second indictment of Article 233 of the Criminal Code subsidiary Article 221 paragraph (1) to 2 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code.
