This prediction was issued by BMKG. In an early warning box, BMKG warned of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning in the East and South Jakarta areas from noon to evening.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said that currently the rain is experiencing a break or break condition.

"The condition of Jakarta is in accordance with the weather forecasts issued by the BMKG on a regular basis, it is stated that in general the weather conditions are clear-cloud with light-medium rain during the day," said Head of the BMKG Weather Information Service, Ana Oktavia Setiowati to VOI, Saturday, January 7.

Ana explained that the rainy season is not over yet, because the peak is in accordance with BMKG data, which will be in January to February this year, and during that period the rain will not always appear.

"In that period it does not mean that throughout the day there will be rain, of course there will be break times where the weather becomes better," explained Ana.

In addition, the stop of rain in these last days was not due to the application of Weather Modification Technology or TMC.
