Transjakarta Prepares Shuttle Bus When Kampung Melayu Stop Is Closed

JAKARTA - The Kampung Melayu bus stop will be closed during the revitalization starting Saturday, January 7. This means that people will not be able to access the Kampung Melayu bus stop.

"During the process of rearranging the bus stops, Kampung Melayu cannot be used by customers," said PT Transjakarta Head of Secretary Division Anang Rizkani Noor in a written statement quoted on Saturday, January 7.

But he asked the public not to worry. PT Transjakarta has prepared a shuttle bus for the Kampung Melayu-Matraman route with a regular fare of IDR 3.500.

It is hoped that this shuttle can help community activities from the Kampung Melayu bus stop. "Customers can board from the Kampung Melayu Terminal to Matraman to continue their journey and vice versa," said Anang.

Meanwhile, other non-BRT services will continue to operate normally.

The following are the adjustments during the Kampung Melayu bus stop revatilation:

1. Matraman Baru-Ancol (Corridor 5);

2. Kampung Rambutan-Malay Village via Jatinegara (Corridor 7);

3. Matraman 1 – Pulogebang (Corridor 11).
