JAKARTA - Military officials and the Minister of Defense of South Korea have not been able to calm down. His position can still be threatened after South Korea is entered by a North Korean drone.

"Inspections of military combat readiness are still ongoing, so when the final result comes out, it is hoped (Yoon) will see the situation as a whole and decide," a presidential official told reporters.

Five North Korean drones entering the South Korean region angered President Yoon Suk Yeol. No wonder because it was reported that the drone flew near the presidential office.

A military official admitted that the North Korean drone had successfully penetrated the no-fly zone around the South Korean presidential office in Seoul. North Korean drones briefly entered the no-fly zone with a radius of 3.7 kilometers around President Yoon Suk Yeol's office.

This seemed to be'snacking' the security authorities who said there was nothing fatal behind the entry of the North Korean drone.

One of the five drones crossed the Military Demarcation Line separating the two Koreas on December 26. The South Korean military failed to shoot them down.

"It flew briefly to the north side of the zone, but did not approach major security facilities," the official was quoted as saying by Yonhap News Agency without naming.

The area is called "P-73."
