"Starting from the arrest of a man with the initials PS in the Panongan area on Friday (December 30) from PS's hands, the police found 11 counterfeit notes of Rp100,000. To officers, PS admitted that he got the counterfeit money from VH akalai Lady Queen by buying it. The price of counterfeit bills of Rp100,000 is sold for Rp100,000 per 3 pieces," said Romdhon.

Romdhon explained that Lady Queen sells counterfeit money and communicates with buyers via the Telegram application.

"The transaction was carried out through a Telegram account managed by the suspect VH alias Lady Queen. The Telegram group was closed, and we traced the whereabouts of VH alias Lady Queen from the address listed on the delivery receipt. We know Lady Queen is in Semarang and immediately made arrests," said Romdhon.

The results of this arrest, officers secured a number of evidences in the form of 67 pieces of counterfeit banknotes that had not been cut. Not only that, the officers also confiscated cutting tools, paper glue, spray paint, ruler, material paper, and also printed machines.

"We also arrested suspects IIM and AAS, a network of suspects VH alias Lady Queen. IIM was arrested in the Kudus area with evidence of 87 counterfeit notes of Rp100 thousand. AAS plays a role in distributing counterfeit money in the Pati area, Central Java," he explained again.

The three suspects were detained at the Tangerang Police Station and charged with Article 36 paragraph (1), paragraph (2) and paragraph (3) of Law Number 7 of 2011 concerning Currency with a penalty of 10 to 15 years in prison.
