The Banten Police responded to reports of the kidnapping of minors in Cilegon that occurred on Monday, January 2. The case, which was reported on Tuesday afternoon, January 3, received a response from the police to follow up on the kidnapping.

The Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police, Kombes Shinto Silitonga, said the kidnapping took place near Cilegon Ramayana Mall, Monday, January 2, at 17.00 WIB.

The incident began when the US victim and his brother AB (7) met the perpetrator at Cilegon Mall, Banten. Then the perpetrator invited AS and AB to eat at Warung Tegal (warteg) around the mall.

Based on the examination of a number of witnesses, the victim's brother and the victim's parents, the perpetrator was known by the victim's family.

"Yes, that's right, (the victim's family and the perpetrator) know each other," said Shinto via text message, Wednesday, January 4.

Shinto continued, at warteg the perpetrator asked AB to go home and call his mother so she could eat together at warteg.

"Arriving at warteg, his brother (AB) was deceived by the perpetrators, asked to call his mother at home, to be invited to eat," he continued.

The victim's brother who complied with the perpetrator's request finally went home and called his mother to eat together at the warteg.

However, Shinto said, arriving at the victim's mother's warteg and the victim's brother did not see AS on the spot. Panic, the victim's mother searched for US whereabouts around warteg and malls, but efforts were in vain. The US was not found. Cilegon Police is the main destination for the victim's parents to report the incident.

The police who received the report immediately examined witnesses and CCTV at the scene.

"Based on the results of the examination and analysis, the Cilegon Police have pocketed the identity of the perpetrator and continue to pursue the perpetrator," he concluded.

The 4-year-old girl's initials AS in Cilegon was reported missing.

Ari, one of the US family, when contacted by VOI confirmed that AS had disappeared. The loss of the US has been reported today to the Cilegon Police. The resident of the Jombang Cemara neighborhood was last seen playing with his friend on Monday afternoon.

"Yes (the AS is missing) It has been (reported) to the Cilegon Police today (Tuesday 3 January) at 2 pm. Ari said in a short message, Tuesday, January 3.

Ari explained, the US has been missing since Monday, January 2 wearing short-sleeved jeans.

"Wearing clothes to draw short legislative ingredients. We have been searched around Cilegon, we have not been searched for in other areas", said Ari.

Ari hopes that the police can find the US in a short time.
