BOGOR - Bogor City Government applies regulations for tourists visiting Bogor City and visiting tourist attractions. Travelers must show a description of the antigen rapid test result or a negative swab test result.

"Tourists are required to have rapid test results and swab tests that were negative on the previous three days. If not, they will not be allowed to enter tourist sites," said Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya Sugiarto, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, December 23.

The regulation is part of the implementation of micro and community-scale social restrictions (PSBMK) which will take effect from Wednesday to January 8, 2021.

According to Bima Arya, the rules applied by the Bogor City Government are in line with the policies implemented by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and West Java Provincial Government.

Bima Arya emphasized that tourist sites in Bogor City do not provide quick test and swab tests, so residents of Jakarta and its surroundings who want to travel to Bogor City must prepare themselves beforehand, by doing quick tests and swab tests independently.

"We convey to all residents of Bogor City and outside Bogor City to prepare the test results," he said.

Tourist attractions in Bogor City will be supervised by the COVID-19 Handling Task Force, the Tourism and Culture Office, and Satpol PP.

"Tourist spots that violate these regulations, which allow visitors without having a negative test result, will be subject to written warning sanctions, fines, until the closure of business permits," said Bima.

He invites and urges people to worship and pray in their homes, safer, more comfortable, and more beneficial.

The Bogor City Government limits the activities of residents outside the home, because the spread of COVID-19 in Bogor City is quite high and the trend continues to increase.

During the implementation of the PSBMK on 23 December 2020 to 8 January 2020, the COVID-19 Combating Task Force, together with Forkopimda, will tighten supervision of public places, and carry out more intense patrols every day to ensure there are no crowds.
