Daring To Confess Military Police Intelligence, This Man In Bali Is Finally Arrested By The TNI

DENPASAR - Denpom IX-3 / Denpasar arrested a man with the initials AK who claimed to be a member of the Military Police (PM) intelligence. This man cheated several people with a loss of tens of millions of rupiah.

"The perpetrator admitted that he was a member of the PM's intelligence, armed with attributes as well as a TNI mask, AK launched an action of 'trick there, trick here' to borrow a sum of money with the lure to be returned twice as well, and managed to pocket the proceeds of the crime of around Rp35 million," said the Commander. Denpom IX-3 / Denpasar Major Cpm Yudhi Efrima Surya quoted Antara, Wednesday, December 23 evening.

Yudhi said the man was a civilian who claimed to be a member of the PM's intelligence to commit a series of acts of fraud against a number of people.

This incident started when AK met victim Made Lila (59) from the Banjar Taman neighborhood, Sanur. At that time, AK claimed to have a deposit of Rp25 billion in the bank, which was the result of selling inherited land in Java.

"Claiming to have urgent business with Made Lila, AK borrowed Rp. 10 million plus Rp. 4 million (from Mrs. Jero, Made Lila's wife), because they promised to return double that, Made Lila and his wife were willing to sell motorbikes, mobile phones, and gold jewelery, "he said.

Not long after the first loan, AK again committed fraud against Made Dani of IDR 4 million, Nyoman Mudita IDR 400 thousand, and Kadek Mahendra IDR 850 thousand.

There is also the modus operandi used by AK, namely promising to return two times the value of the loan.

Furthermore, on last Sunday (20/12), AK met and borrowed money from Wayan Adi Sugiantara of Rp. 10 million, Kadek Sri Handayani Rp. 3 million, and Teguh Kartika Rp. 3 million.

"To the victims of this fraud, AK always promised to return two times the value of the loan money. Because he was suspicious of AK's revelry lifestyle, especially when he was asked to repay his loan, the victims reported AK," said Yudhi.

AK was arrested at his boarding house which is located at Jalan Tukad Anyar I, Sanur Kauh Village, AK was caught dating a woman who provides a dating service. When interrogated by officers, AK admitted all his actions and was not a member of the TNI.

"The arrest was carried out by Denpom IX-3 / Denpasar. After being secured and asked for information, it turned out that AK was a civilian, so all the problems were then transferred to the South Denpasar Police," explained Yudhi.
