Ferdy Sambo-Putri Candrawathi Presents Professor Of Unhas Becomes A Vulnerable Witness

JAKARTA - The defendants Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi will again present a mitigating witness or a de charge at the trial of the alleged murder case of Brigadier J today, Tuesday, January 3.

The plan is that the Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi camps will present Professor from Hasanuddin University, Said Karim.

"The expert is a Professor from Hasanuddin University who teaches criminal law, criminal procedural law and criminology," said Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawati's legal adviser, Febri Diansyah when confirmed, Tuesday, January 3.

Later, the expert presented by the defendant's camp will give his scientific views. So, continued Febri, the series of alleged premeditated murder cases will be clearer.

"Providing information according to the knowledge we have, it is hoped that it will make this case clearer," he said.

Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi are defendants in the alleged murder case of Brigadier J. They are said to have different roles.

Meanwhile, Putri Candrawathi was charged with being involved in the series of developments. She is also said to have not prevented her husband's plans and reported it to law enforcement officials.

Thus, Ferdy Sambi and Putri Candrawathi were charged with violating Article 340 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary to Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code. They face the maximum sentence of death, life imprisonment or a maximum of 20 years.
