The Odd Budget Of The DKI DPRD Which Is Called By The Ministry Of Home Affairs Is 'awful', There Are Rp. 2.3 Billion Of Civilian Clothes

JAKARTA - The odd budget post was found in the Draft Regional Budget (RAPBD) for the 2021 budget year for the DKI DPRD activities. This odd budget was discovered when researched by a team from the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri).

The Director of Regional Budget Planning at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Bahri said, the budget irregularities reached Rp. 580 billion, starting from the procurement of a medical device budget to spending awards for an achievement.

"Some adjustments were made because we found some were not in accordance with the legislation. There was an increase in the details of the council's activities. There were things that were awful, we are fixing them," Bahri told reporters, Wednesday, December 23.

There are several post activities of the DKI DPRD which are considered odd. Starting from the procurement of civilian clothing, capital expenditure for audio studio equipment, personal computer capital expenditure and shopping for other computer equipment models at the DPRD Secretariat.

Shopping for daily civilian clothes, complete civilian clothes, daily official clothes, official civilian clothes from the DPRD secretariat are included in the sub-activities for the discussion of KUA Amendments and PPAS, which value reaches Rp 2,310,670,340.

There are also objects of shopping for medical equipment spare parts to spending on official trips abroad at the DPRD Secretariat.

"This budget is considered odd because it does not have a direct correlation with the expected output of the activity in terms of indicators, benchmarks and activity targets," he concluded.

Meanwhile, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said the findings of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) regarding the odd budget in the DKI Jakarta DPRD worth IDR 5,112,555,027 are still in the evaluation process.

According to Riza, currently the Ministry of Home Affairs is still checking the budget for 2021, including the budget for the DKI Jakarta DPRD which is considered odd.

"Indeed, it is currently in the evaluation process at the Ministry of Home Affairs, not only in Jakarta but in all provinces and districts. Wait for the results of the evaluation by the Ministry of Home Affairs, we will coordinate it," said Ariza in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, December 23.

With the evaluation from the Ministry of Home Affairs, it is hoped that the 2021 DKI Regional Budget will be in accordance with the needs and in accordance with the principles of financial use.

The Ministry of Home Affairs will coordinate any unsuitable things with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

"This is routinely assisted by the Ministry of Home Affairs every year in the framework of checking, the budget is not only in accordance with financial principles but also must be efficient, right on target," said Riza.
