"While in the democratic era elections, this must be prioritized is the right of the people's voice, the people's voice is the voice of God," he continued. This member of the DPR explained, in a closed proportional system, later the determination of legislative candidates at all levels will give high authority to political parties, not individual candidates. So that the public cannot oversee the performance of selected candidates. “ While this open proportionality gives the public the right to determine who the community wants to be its representative in parliament. This is also a tool for the public to assess or punish if there are representatives who don't work well, "explained Dave. "Don't let this obligation be lost just because of the wishes of the elite political parties who want to control the movement of the nation," said the Ketum Kosgoro 57. Dave assessed that if Indonesia returns to a closed proportional system, it is tantamount to betray the reform process and revoke people's rights. “In fact, revoking the rights that have been given to the people to be determined by a group of elites who will run the wheels of government without hearing purely the voice, will, and wishes of the people,” concluded Dave.
