The Head of Purwakarta Police, Cilegon Police, Iptu Iwan Sofyan, explained that at that time MN brought a machete and stood in front of his ex-wife's house, UH (40) in Duku Malang, Tegal Bunder Village. MN's arrival at that time asked UH to re-establish the household relationship he had fostered, or reconcile.

The victim could avoid it so that it did not hit his back. Then the victim immediately ran while screaming for help from the residents," explained Iwan.
