People Who Want To Celebrate New Year's Eve At TMII Should Take Public Transportation

JAKARTA - As many as 40 thousand visitors are targeted to enjoy the celebration of the turn of New Year's Eve 2022-2023 at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta on Saturday, December 31.

To prevent traffic jams, TMII manager Edy Setijono appealed to people who want to come to TMII to use public transportation.

"We urge people who celebrate the new year at TMII to come using public transportation," said Edy Setijono when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, December 28.

Edy also said that people should use the mass transportation that has been prepared by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

Later, Transjakarta will also add a bus fleet on the eve of the 2022-2023 new year celebration at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta.

Head of Transjakarta's Corporate Secretary Division, Anang Rizkani Noor, said that to facilitate community activities on New Year's Eve on Saturday, December 31, Transjakarta added a bus fleet in the TMII area.

"So we already have a 7D route, from the rambutan village to the Pancoran via the TMII bus stop already exists. For the new year we have added 9 more bus fleets, so there are 24 buses that will operate until 02.00 WIB on Sunday, January 1, 2023," Anang told VOI, Wednesday, December 28.

Meanwhile, regarding the operation of Transjakarta, Anang continued, this is done so that visitors can easily access their way home.

"There are 3 places, besides that, the deposition in Pinang Ranti will not be far from here. If the bus is full, it will be sent directly from Pinang Ranti to TMII," he said.

Meanwhile, the Transjakarta bus, which was from Kampung Rambutan to Pancoran, will also stop at the Cawang - Uki Bus Stop.

"There is a main transit stop that will be able to move to many places. So that is our effort to support the event at TMII on this New Year's Eve," he said.
