Bogor Kasih Regency Government Borrows A Ex-Leuwiliang District Office To BPN, Plt Regent: The Test Before It's Wide, Is It Suitable?

JAKARTA - The Bogor Regency Government loaned the former Leuwiliang District Office to the National Land Agency (BPN) to be used as a service representative office in the western region of Bogor Regency.

"We did the test first or not, the area is appropriate or not, don't give it back, because if it's too narrow it won't be optimal," said Acting Regent of Bogor, Iwan Setiawan during the symbolic handover of the loan using a building in Leuwiliang, Bogor, Tuesday 27 December.

Iwan also socialized the existence of a new office for land affairs in the western region of Bogor Regency.

"Today we are socializing how to provide proactive services to the community, one of which is by opening a BPN Office in the West Bogor area," said Iwan as quoted by Antara.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bogor Regency BPN, Yan Septedyas, said that his party is targeting to open a representative office in Leuwiliang District in 2023, to bring services closer to the community in the western region of Bogor Regency.

"Later, it will be like (the representative office) in the eastern region of Bogor Regency is very helpful for the community there. Because the service is closer to the community," said the man who is familiarly called Dyas.

He explained, as an initial stage, the BPN office representative for the western region will only serve four sub-districts, namely Leuwiliang, Sukajaya, Cigudeg, and Jasinga. However, according to him, this number is still possible to be added, according to proposals from the Bogor Regency Government.

"The area where the services will be moved will be in the four sub-districts, maybe we can increase it again, we haven't got a definite number," he explained.

Dyas explained that it requires qualified infrastructure, human resources and budget to open BPN services in Leuwiliang District.

"The Bogor Regency Government has helped to prepare the infrastructure. It's just that we are making RKA (work plan and budget) for other needs," said Dyas.

He estimates that at least 75-100 employees will be assigned to the BPN representative office in the western region of Bogor Regency.

With the opening of land services in the western region. So the number of BPN service offices in Bogor Regency is three locations, namely in Cibinong which is the main office, and in Cileungsi as representatives of the eastern region.

"Actually (three offices) to serve 40 sub-districts are still not ideal, especially if you look at the geographical location of Bogor Regency like this," he said.
