Police Hold Harley Driver Davidson Who Collises Pedestrians To Death In Menteng

JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta Traffic Unit (Satlantas) secured the man with the initials RMP (43), a Harley Davidson motor rider who hit a female pedestrian in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, to death.

"(The perpetrator) has been secured. Everything has been handled," said Head of the Central Jakarta Traffic Unit (Kasatlantas) Kompol Purwanta when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, December 27.

Currently, the Harley Davidson driver with the number B 6855 WZH is still being questioned at the Central Jakarta Satlantas office.

"The perpetrator is listed as a resident of Jalan Menteng Atas Selatan 1, Setiabudi District, South Jakarta," he said.

As a result of the accident, the perpetrator also suffered injuries to his right hand and was taken to the RSCM for treatment. Meanwhile, the perpetrator's motorbike suffered damage to the handlebars and front bodies.

"The cause of the accident is still under investigation. The perpetrator's motorbike and vehicle registration were confiscated as evidence," said Kompol Purwanta.

Previously, it was reported that a pedestrian woman was found dead in tragedy after being hit by a large Harley Davidson motorbike on Jalan Hos Cokroaminoto, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, December 27, afternoon.
