Allegedly The Rakitan Bomb Found At Melbourne Shopping Center Ahead Of Christmas 2022

JAKARTA - Melbourne residents were made in a commotion. It is suspected that the homemade bomb was found in a car parked in a shopping center or mall in Australia's second most populous city ahead of Christmas 2022.

The discovery of the alleged explosive made visitors to the Cranbourne Park shopping center panic and stay away.

News.com.au reported that the discovery of the alleged bomb began with the curiosity of a visitor who saw the suspicious behavior of a man in the car park.

When approached, the visitor was shocked. A gun lying on the passenger seat of the man's car.

Instead of getting closer, the visitor turned around. He called the police. However, when the Victorian Police arrived, the man had fled.

The police who searched the car not only found a gun but also an alleged homemade bomb. The bomb disposal unit was asked to come.

The Victorian Police then sterilized the crime scene (TKP) where the discovery was suspected to be a bomb. Residents and visitors to shopping centers were asked to stay away from the crime scene.

Until now, the Victorian Police are still looking for the man who was in the car who fled before he was found to be the bomb.
