Barantan: Vessel Babi Dari Pulau Bulan Batam Capai Rp785 Miliar

Kepala Badan Karantina Agricultural (Barantan) Bambang menyebut selama periode Januari hingga November 2022, ekspor babi dari Pulau Bulan mencapai 240.117 ekonomi hingga Rp785 miliar. "The delivery is relatively stable both in volume and frequency," said Bambang during his working visit to Bulan Island, Batam, Riau Islands Province (Kepri), Antara, Friday, December 23. Bambang said his working visit was to ensure that the export traffic of pigs from the island did not experience any problems ahead of the celebration of the 2022 Christmas and 2023 New Year holidays. According to him, Pulau Bulan is a pig farm center and has been regularly exported to Singapore and is the largest export-scale pig farm in Indonesia. "This achievement must be maintained and improved in the future," said Bambang. Bambang also reviewed the application of biosekuriti to the Animal Quarantine Installation (IKH) belonging to PT Indotirta Subaka (PT. ITS) which has been registered by his party. According to Bambang, the application of biosekurities on the island of the Moon is very good and can be used as an example for other IKH.
