IKN Development Workers From Outside The Region Are Obliged To Welcome A Domicile Letter

JAKARTA - The Dukcapil of North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, emphasized that workers of development projects for the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) from outside the region must take care of local domicile letters. The government of the Sepaku District, according to the acting Head of the North Penajam Paser Regency Dukcapil Office, Mawar wrote to the company to report IKN development workers from outside the region. IKN development projects from outside the area that do not move population administration to North Penajam Paser Regency must report themselves to the local government. "The construction work of IKN outside the area that does not move to Penajam Paser Utara Regency must take care of domicile letters in residential areas," he explained, Thursday, December 22. North Penajam Paser Regency Dukcapil Office provides convenience for IKN development project workers who come from outside the region who wish to move to become residents in the area nicknamed Benuo Taka, but do not carry a letter of transfer from the area of origin. The North Penajam Paser Regency Dukcapil Department will help facilitate the local government as long as it issues a transfer letter, so that immigrants do not need to return to their area of origin to take care of the transfer letter. However, Mawar, a resident who has the desire to become a resident of North Penajam Paser Regency, should first take care of a transfer letter in the area of origin. The North Penajam Paser Regency Dukcapil Department also performs ball pick-up services or visits the community in the IKN area, to make it easier for residents who are in the capital city of the new Indonesian state to obtain population administration services.

The ongoing development of basic IKN infrastructure, including the Sepaku-Semoi Dam, the Sepaku River takeover, and the widening of the Petung-Sepaku axis road. Then the construction of the Sepaku ring road, workers' flats and reservoirs in the core area of the new Indonesian capital city is also being carried out. The central government will build the State Palace, offices of ministries and offices of other state institutions, as well as several toll road points connecting IKN in 2023.
