Seeing Heru Budi's Breakthrough In Jakarta, The Program Is Speeding Up Over Krutial Issues

YOGYAKARTA - Heru Budi Hartono, the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta has issued several breakthroughs in his leadership which have only been running for two months. Heru runs a number of programs to resolve crucial problems in Jakarta.

Heru Budi continues to prove his commitment to advancing Jakarta to be even better. Since taking office, Heru immediately stepped on the gas to implement a number of breakthroughs, starting from building connectivity and consolidation with various Ministries/Institutions such as SOEs, PUPR, Trade, Transportation, and others.

The following are a number of breakthroughs that have been carried out by Heru Budi Hartono since serving as Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta.

SOEs will synergize public transportation with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. Public transportation in the capital city that will soon be synergized includes MRT, LRT, commuter line, airport train, and the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train. This plan was revealed directly by SOE Minister Erick Thohir last October.

This program is carried out based on the direction of President Jokowi. This synergy is carried out to make public transportation in DKI Jakarta more optimally operational. The Minister of SOEs said that so far transportation in the capital city has not been running optimally because there has been no joint umbrella between the central government and local governments.

LRT, MRT, commuter line, fast train, and airport train will later become one unit. We want to synchronize. This is the synergy that we will encourage together. Everything that has been built now will become one unit, so that the system is the same," said Erick Thohir.

Floods are an annual problem that continues to occur in Jakarta. Haru is committed to overcoming this problem by implementing a number of flood control strategies. A number of programs driven by Heru range from infrastructure development to strengthening water suction pumps.

Heru will carry out a flood control strategy in coordination with the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning or the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN). Heru will also handle the normalization of Ciliwung to overcome the flood problem.

The DKI Jakarta public complaint post was revived by Heru Budi Hartono. This program was carried out during the leadership of Jokowi and Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok).

Heru said this step was taken to open the widest possible space so that it would be easier for the public to report. Even though the Jali or Jakarta application is available now. With the complaint post, the public can choose the services they want to use. So people can submit reports both online and come to the office directly. Heru asked representatives from the mayor and his assistants to alternate each area in DKI.

Heru will routinely tour each region to review flood management. Heru went to the field to check the equipment in the face of the rainy season and prevent flooding. He will check equipment, such as pump houses and portable pump cars.

Heru instructed the Lurah and Camat to be at the forefront of flood management. Heru asked the local government to collaborate in anticipating potential flooding when entering the rainy season. Heru reminded that all equipment from the Natural Resources Service should be prepared, as well as strengthening the coordination of officers in the field.

Heru runs a safety and consumption feasibility check program for students. Heru instructed the Education Office and the Health Office to supervise and check the snacks in schools.

To maximize this program, Heru asked for the involvement of the sub-district and village heads in providing socialization about the food to be consumed. Food sellers at school need to be warned not to mix harmful materials in their products.
