15 Teenagers Alleged To Have Had A Brawl In Kebayoran Baru And Were Secured, Police: The Average Dropout Of School

JAKARTA - The police have arrested 15 teenagers suspected of being involved in a brawl on Jalan Raya Tendean Front Tarakanita, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Sunday, December 18, at 04.30 WIB.

Kebayoran Baru Police Chief, Kompol, Donni Bagus Wibisono said 15 youths were arrested, on average, teenagers dropping out of school.

The 15 new big children had the initials MRF (19), AFF (16) MIS (19), MR (15), RA (16), AF (15), IT (15), KS (16), FAA (16), IDS (15), AFA (15), ES (16), MF (15), AFS (21) and RAB (16).

"Among those arrested, on average they have dropped out of school," said Donni when confirmed, Sunday, December 18.

Donni explained that the brawl could be prevented from starting with the South Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team at that time was traveling around the South Jakarta area.

There is a group of teenagers who are suspected of being involved in a brawl. When approached, they ran away from being chased by officers.

Until finally they were secured, officers found four sharp weapons and a golf club.

"(Secured-ed) 4 weapons and 1 golf club, motorized vehicle, 4 cellphones," he said.

Currently, 15 suspected brawlers are still undergoing intensive examination. It is suspected that the two groups had previously made an appointment to meet.

"Regarding an appointment or not, we are exploring it, but they seem to be making an appointment," he said.

Donni ensured that teenagers who were found to have violated the law would be processed further. One of them is AF (15) who was caught carrying a sharp sickle type weapon.

"We are still checking, we will return it home if it is not proven, if it is for those who bring the weapons, we will continue," he concluded.
