PDIP Belitung Is More Optimistic In The 2024 General Election, Targets Eight Chairs In The DPRD

TANJUNG PANDANG - DPC PDI Perjuangan Belitung Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, is targeting to win eight seats in the local DPRD in the upcoming 2024 election.

Chairman of the DPC PDI-P Belitung, Taufik Mardin, said the target for obtaining eight seats increased from the previous number of six seats.

"We are targeting to get eight seats in the Belitung Regency DPRD in the 2024 General Election, increasing from the current number of six seats," he said as reported by Antara from Tanjung Pandan, Sunday, December 18.

He said, while for the provincial level DPRD, his party is targeting to get three seats in the upcoming 2024 General Election.

According to him, the increasing number of DPRD seats achieved will certainly make it very easier to support party duties and work in the legislative body.

He is optimistic that the target of eight seats in the Belitung DPRD can be achieved if done with hard work.

"We are sure that if it is done with hard work, the target seat can be achieved, even more than eight seats," he said.

Taufik Mardin explained that the addition of two Belitung DPRD seats to eight seats from the previous number of seats, namely six seats, was proclaimed for the two electoral districts in the area.

He said the two electoral districts, namely the electoral district III (Sijuk - Badau) one seat and the election area IV (Membalong - Selat Nasik) one seat.

"We are targeting to add one seat from each of these electoral districts, if we value the other electoral districts, that is enough," he said.

He invited the DPC PDI Perjuangan Belitung cadres to work optimally in winning the upcoming 2024 elections.

"Because according to the direction of the general chairman, we are targeting victory in three elections, both executive, legislative and presidential elections," he said.
