JAKARTA - Former Karo Paminal of the Propam Division, Hendra Kurniawan, explained the reason for involving the CCTV team KM 50, Ari Cahya alias Acay, in the series of cases where Brigadier J died. One of them is because the Paminal C Detachment he leads is currently having other activities.

"I just reminded Ari Cahya again because there are no members at our place," Hendra said during a trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Friday, December 16.

Acay's appointment aims to secure CCTV around the scene or Ferdy Sambo's official residence at the Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.

In addition, the consideration of Acay's appointment was because the team at the Paminal Bureau of Detachment C, which competes in the IT sector, was in Semarang. This is because there is currently a Police Academy recruitment related to mental personality tracing issues.

"Because there were no personnel, I called Ari Cahya," said Hendra.

Until finally, Apay was contacted and asked to secure CCTV. It's just that, at that time he was in Bali so asked the defendant Irfan Widyanto to secure CCTV.

Hendra Kurniawan was presented as a witness in the trial of the alleged obstruction of justice case with the defendant Irfan Widyanto.

In this case, Irfan Widyanto is suspected of violating Article 49 in conjunction with Article 33 subsidiary Article 48 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 32 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law Number 19 of 2016 and/or the second indictment of Article 233 of the Criminal Code subsidiary Article 221 paragraph (1) to 2 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code.
